I’d like to announce my very first commercial sponsor! Hurrah!

Cheddar Cycle Store, my invaluable local bike shop, are going to sponsor me!  Thanks guys 🙂  They do all the work on my bike – including last week’s brake pads and new chain – so quite literally keep me on the road.  They were also the first people to email me via this site – which I’m afraid I found quite exciting!

They also run the Cheddar Cyclo Sportive which will be taking place on September 20th 2009 – so if you fancy cycling the infamous Cheddar Gorge, this one could be for you!  I’m not sure if I’ll be doing it, as it clashes with the Southdowns Challenge.  And to be honest, hills aren’t my thing.  This is my most local event, which means I know all the roads, all the hills, and exactly what I’d be letting myself in for.  However maybe by then, after all these events, I’ll be up to the challenge! And at least I wouldn’t have to travel far *grin*
